“Let Us Sacrifices Our Today So That Our Children Can Have a Better Tomorrow” -Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam
Children are the future of a nation. They are the best change agents, be it in the family or the community in which they live. It is therefore crucial to help the children, catch them young and inculcate in them feelings of empathy and conscience so that they grow up as responsible individuals. Sensing this need, Dr. Ambedkar Society came up with “11 Takar Tuition” (11 Rupees Tuition) programme where we provide basic education with proper guidance and with live projects to understand their study topic easily, also we provide computer-based education programme for future preparation as computer is a primary object in our education system. Also, Sensitization of privileged children and their parents, towards the existing inequalities around them, is an important objective of our “11Takar Tuition.”
- Our main goals for the Child Welfare are as follows
- To provide financial assistance on education
- Providing digital education through E-learning platform
- Evolution of a holistic approach towards problems through awareness, concern, involvement, and application of the scientific methodology for their resolution. Various short and long-term activities and programmes are envisaged for better future.
Under “11 Takar Tuition” programme, Dr. Ambedkar Society visits various schools, Community areas, underprivileged areas and conducts engaging sessions for the young minds. It sensitizes children towards various causes and let them realize their privileged status.
“11 Takar Tuition” is aiming to reaching out to nearly 1000 underprivileged children in 150 schools spread across 5 districts of West Bengal, every year. In addition, their parents and teachers are also involved in the process. The programme will reach out to each part of India near future.
